Delft, Netherlands

This bathroom renovation in Delft was delivered as a complete turnkey project, with our team overseeing every stage—from dismantling the old interior to installing new fixtures, tiling and lighting. The original bathroom required a full modernisation, including new plumbing, electrical upgrades, waterproofing and a complete redesign of the functional zones.

The client wanted a practical yet visually warm bathroom with a balanced combination of natural textures and contemporary lines. The renovation was successfully completed within three weeks, resulting in a fresh, harmonious space built with durable materials and precise craftsmanship. The project budget amounted to €20,000.

Design Concept & Material Selection

The design concept is based on a blend of soft earthy tones, natural finishes and clean geometry. To create a cohesive look, we installed large-format beige tiles across the walls and floors, establishing visual continuity and making the room feel larger and brighter.

The bathtub and shower areas were accentuated with textured tiles in gentle brown-beige shades. These tiles add depth and warmth, giving the room an organic, spa-like atmosphere. The combination of smooth surfaces and structured textures creates a balanced aesthetic throughout the space.

Careful tile alignment, minimal grout lines and a consistent material palette contribute to a clean, uncluttered design that supports long-term durability and easy maintenance.

Bathtub Area & Relaxation Zone

A key feature of the renovation is the integrated built-in bathtub, framed with textured tiles that match the shower zone. This creates a cohesive visual rhythm across the room. The bathtub area is positioned beneath two frosted windows, providing natural light while ensuring privacy.

The bathtub’s modern chrome fixtures complement the contemporary style of the entire bathroom. The surrounding surfaces are fully tiled, ensuring water resistance and making the area easy to clean. This zone acts as a warm, inviting relaxation area within the bathroom.

Walk-In Shower Zone

The walk-in shower was rebuilt as a dedicated recessed area, seamlessly integrated into the layout. It features:

  • textured wall tiles for visual depth;
  • a minimalist linear floor drain;
  • a chrome rain-shower head with an adjustable handheld;
  • concealed plumbing for a streamlined look;
  • a built-in niche for convenient storage of shower essentials.

The raised shower platform defines the wet zone while maintaining an open flow with the rest of the bathroom. The contrast between smooth tiles and textured surfaces gives the shower a distinctive, contemporary character.

Double Vanity & Storage

The vanity area includes a floating double-sink unit made of warm wood-effect material that brings a natural accent to the space. The large drawers offer practical storage while maintaining clean lines and a minimalist appearance.

Above the vanity, a wide mirrored cabinet adds generous additional storage and visually enlarges the room by reflecting light. The chrome faucets and white ceramic sinks complement the overall colour palette and ensure everyday practicality.

This combination of floating furniture and mirrored surfaces contributes to the bathroom’s modern, spacious feel.

Final Result

Completed within the agreed three-week timeframe, this renovation delivered a warm, functional and visually cohesive bathroom that meets modern living standards. With a total investment of €20,000, the client received a thoughtfully designed space featuring natural textures, clean geometry and durable materials.

The bathroom now offers improved comfort, efficient storage, enhanced lighting and a refined aesthetic — adding both value and everyday convenience to the home in Delft.
