Bathroom and Toilet Renovation in the Netherlands – Full Upgrade with Smart Functional Changes

We started by replacing the shower with a built-in bathtub, perfectly fitted into the niche — an ideal solution for small or modern bathrooms. To improve layout and accessibility, we rebuilt the wall between the bathroom and toilet, creating a more efficient use of space.

The toilet area was fully modernized:
We removed the built-in Geberit system and installed a classic floor-mounted toilet, making the space more practical and easier to maintain. This change also added a timeless, solid feel to the room.

One of the most practical updates was the addition of hot water to the toilet faucet. By connecting it to the bathroom’s hot water supply, we provided more comfort without needing a separate water heater — a simple, cost-effective solution often overlooked in typical bathroom upgrades.
